HAINAN, CHINA, June 30, 2008 – Shiner International, Inc. (NASDAQ: BEST, website: www.shinerinc.com), an emerging global leader in the anti-counterfeiting and advanced packaging film industry, today announced that it has entered into contracts with Hsu Fu Chi International, one of the largest food conglomerates in Asia to supply 1,200 tons of coated films with an approximate value of $5.5 million. Shiner’s new generation of coated films is broadly used for food packaging, which can significantly extend shelf life, maintain food freshness and ensure food safety.
