Film Manufacturing:
The Company has production & distribution capacity as follows:
- 3 coated film lines, total capacity of 6,000 tons/year
- 1 BOPP1 tobacco film line, capacity of 3,500 tons/year
(During 2007 an additional 7,000 tons of capacity will be added)
- 3 Anti-counterfeit film machines, capacity of 700 tons/year
Shiner International produces specialty films that use BOPP as a base film for coated, anti-counterfeit, and tobacco BOPP films. Specialization improves water vapor and gas barrier properties, visual quality and printability of films. Different kinds of film are used to package different categories of products in accordance with the acceptable porosity levels, required tensile strength, and other essential properties.
Coated film lines have the ability to apply single coated (one-side, such as inside or outside) or double coated (inside and outside) in a variety of film materials such as
Poly-vinylidene Chloride2 (PVDC),Thermoplastic Poly Vinyl Alcohol ( PVOH) or Acrylic(AC).
The Company's products include a variety of packaging films which are used to seal freshness and protect the product from fraud and misuse. Shiner films are used in a variety of industries: food and beverage industry, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and tobacco.

Color Printing has:
The color printing facility is conveniently located nearby the film production site. Films may be single, double or reverse printed and printing may occur before or after final film production. For example, the base layer of coated film may be printed prior to the application of coating layers or printing can be done on the coated surface after the coating is complete.
