The Company's products include a variety of packaging films which are used to seal freshness and protect the product.
In addition the Company provides printing services for a number of consumer products companies and all films are available for single, reverse, or double-side printing. The printing service is maintained both to service the needs of the Company's long-term printing customers and as a convenience to those customers wishing to combine their packaging and printing needs in one vendor, thus saving manufacturing lead time and costs. The Company's main products include:
- Anti-Counterfeit Film: The Company's unique patented anti-counterfeit film is made from a specially-treated BOPP film which is embossed with a multi-dimensional insignia that creates eye-catching illusions and makes it easier to increase brand identity. Generally used in the packaging of premium brand spirits, tobacco, DVDs, and other products that are frequently imitated.
- Coated Film: A kind of functional packaging film in which a thin layer of polyolefin-based film is sealed either on one or both sides with a varying type of film. The films are produced through an extrusion process in which film is stretched in diagonal or opposing angles, to produce a film of greater endurance and tensile strength. Coated film can be produced in heat-resistant, shrink-wrap, peelable or hardening varieties. Coated films are known for their superior moisture, vapor, flavor and aroma barrier
properties, as well as their clarity and superior printability.
Shiner uses BOPP, BOPET, or BOPA for base layer and PVDC, PVOH, and Acrylic for coating layers. All films can be surface printed, reverse printed or used unprinted.
- BOPP Tobacco Film: A box over-wrap film designed to meet the industry requirements for pack appearance, product freshness and clear optics.
- Color Printing: Surface and reverse printing services mainly for domestic consumer goods and beverage companies.
